The results of the pre-productions are very promising and we can’t wait to finish the recordings. One more time we´re not taking fright to create some new and fresh musical art with a lot of surprises and specials for you, the keen-eared!

We just finished the pre-production for our new album and can't wait to record the new shit!
At the moment we're working hard on the last fine tuning of the songs but be sure that the new babe will rock your city!

2008/04/13 - NEW BOOKING AGENCY - SONGWRITING FOR NEW ALBUM STARTED

We're happy to anounce, that with immediate effect DRAGON PRODUCTIONS will manage all our booking duties in the future. We're joining the roster with great bands like Volbeat, Firewind, Dew-Scented and many more. For more information and all contact details click here.

We already started with the songwriting for our new album. You know, that it's pretty hard to write bad songs like we do, so we have to take a break in playing shows and back out of stages for a while, except for a few exclusive festival appearances.

The new album is going to be released in November, the studio is booked for beginning of August and we're having a looooooot of work to do for that new piece of crap.
But be sure, that we're going to keep you updated regularly. So stay tuned for more news from time to time!

2008/02/27 - CONTRACT WITH LIFEFORCE EXTENDED - PETA2 CAMPAIGN STARTED - NEW SONG UP

Hey ladies and gentlemen,
it's a big pleasure for us to let you know, that we signed a new contract to continue our collaboration with LIFEFORCE RECORDS for three more albums. They're doing an excellent job for Deadlock, so it's been an pretty easy decision to extend our existing deal with them. As you know, we're the only good band on their label roster, so we couldn't take the responsibility to leave them alone with all those other poorly acts. ;-)

This is what Lifeforce CEO Stefan Lüdicke has to say about our new signing:
“I'm very happy that we have secured three more albums with DEADLOCK, one of the most promising bands around and not to forget one of my personal favorites on Lifeforce. 2008/01/05 - REVIEW ANNIVERSARY SHOW - THANK YOU REGENSBURG!

Hey ladies and gentlemen,

we're still overwhelmed, when we remember our 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOW in Regensburg two weeks ago. It was such a big and grandiose party, which will always be in our minds.
THANK YOU SO MUCH REGENSBURG for being such an amazing audience and all you crazy people/kids, who followed our invitation that numerous to celebrate that special night with us! It's been fantastic...
Thanks to our friends in THE BLACKOUT ARGUMENT and DECON for supporting us with their breathtaking shows, our two sexy dancers Julia and Sabrina for their hooootttt appearances during our show, Eric and Fimmi for the bombastic sound, the Gloria Crew, Aftershow Party DJ-LEGEND Josef Reichl, Daniel & ProEvent and all other supporters and helping hands, who have been involved to the show.
To say it once again - it's been fucking amazing and we definitely will return soon!

2007/12/24 - BOW BOW BOW

It´s time to wish you happy holidays, a merry xxx-mas and a really heavy new year!
We wanna thank YOU ALL for making 2007 a really successful year for us.
We´re more than thrilled, what happened since the release of WOLVES - tons of great shows, an absolutely amazing tour, many new friends and fans we met on the road, the awesome summer festivals... just to name a few highlights. But we won´t stop and continue our chosen path! We´re having a lot of plans for 2008 and rumours say, that we´re even going to release a new album at the end of the year. We´ll see, if this comes true....;-)

During the holidays we´re pretty busy preparing our 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOW in our home town Regensburg. It seems, that it´s going to be a really big party and we once again wanna invite YOU to join us!

2007/11/17 - 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOW

Hey folks,

the current year leans to an end and if you already know or read in our biography, when we started with Deadlock, you notice, that we definitely have to party in 2007! Yeah, and this is what we´re going to do!!!
PAY ATTENTION PLEASE: On 28th of December we´ll celebrate our
10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOW in our hometown Regensburg (Club GLORIA). Come on and join our ceremony, ladies and gentlemen - we´ll have a lot of surprises, a big aftershow party and many more specials for you to make it a night to remember.
Our buddies in THE BLACKOUT ARGUMENT and DECON will be the very special guests for that evening.

2007/11/14 - OFFICIAL STATEMENT - SHOW IN AS (B)

Some of you guys probably heard about our cancellation of the show in As/ Belgium saturday 11th. After some comments in our guestbook and on our myspace homepage we decided to write a statement, too.

We were booked for saturday 11th to play a show at jh de balans/ As. The booking went it's usual way. We forwarded our stage rider to the local promoter in time and didn't get a response concerning problems in organizing a suitable PA system. When we arrived saturday afternoon we immediately recognized that there was no real PA at the venue. Anyways we started to build up our own backline in order to do a soundcheck. But due to manifold reasons a soundcheck was simply not possible. There was no stereo DI box for our hard disc recorder, that provides all our keyboard tracks. The base drum trigger didn`t work. There weren`t any monitors for our vocalists or drummer. These are necessary because our drummer uses In Ear to regulate the keyboard tracks. Additionally the PA system lacked the usual gates, hall effects and compressors. In the end we were supposed to play without the use of a PA system. These simple facts made it impossible for us to play. We talked to the local promoter, who claimed that he is not responsible for the ridiculous PA system. We made him clear that it is not possible to play without our keyboard tracks. In order to find a solution we offered him the following: He should bear our expenses (the rent for our van, gas and our driver/merch guy) and we renounced on the rest of the agreed salary. We think this was a fair solution for both parties.

2007/11/13 - BACK FROM TOUR

Since nearly two weeks we are thrown back into our real lives after an unbelievable adventure with our buddies from NEAERA. The "Armamentarium Tour" was nothing but incredible and we want to say a BIG thank you to all the promoters and all the ladies and gents who came up to the shows and head-banged the hell out of their cities!
Also big hails to Thomas for his unending patience, power and showing us how naked asses on streets could look like!
Thank you all for making the tour so successful and outstanding for us! Without you we are nothing.

2007/10/02 - NEW LIVE VIDEO ONLINE - BACK FROM RUSSIA, THANKS TO RUSSIA

Hey folks,

a live video clip for the track "Awakened By Sirens" from our appearance at this year's Summer Breeze Festival is now to find at this location! Check it out and share our memories of an really amazing show we had there.

Furthermore we wanted to let you know, that we returned from an awesome trip to Russia and send our deepest gratitude to all our fans there, the promoters of the shows, our love Roman, the big boss Tibur and everyone else, who was involved in making this tour a wonderful event for us.
It´s been a big adventure and we´re psyched by all the reactions we got and the enduring impressions we took home. THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all the people, who came to our shows in MOSCOW, ROSTOV and KALININGRAD! The gigs there have been magnificent and we enjoyed to make party with you all!
We'll be back in the future, definitely - so see you again, soon!!!

2007/09/06 - DEADLOCK OVER RUSSIA & TOUR DATES!!!

we´re counting the days until we´re taking off for our first trip to Russia.
It´s exciting for us to come over and meet our Russian fans! We´re looking forward to the shows and we´re ready to rock this country!

2007/02/08 - "WOLVES" ALBUM DETAILS

We finally finished the recordings of our third full length assault WOLVES and can’t wait to let these bastard out to rip some flesh. We as the band are so extremly satisfied with the recordings and the overwhelming production by JACOB HANSEN. He fucking rules!
We continued the path that we started with our first album "the arrival" in 2002 -
on this third full-length you can expect the next step of enthralling keyboard overkills, bombastic orchestral stuff and fast lead-attacks combined with one of the most talented female vocalist around, Sabine Weniger. With her songwriting vocation, our songs getting more depth, variability and emotion.
For us it´s definitely the best and most innovative work we've ever created. We´re curious to the audiences reactions and hope, that you, all our fans and listeners will love our new baby as much as we do. Be aware - The wolves are coming!
