2009/01/26 - I WANT TO BE A HIPPIE AND I WANT TO PLAY BASS!!!
Hey folks,
as you might know, our bass player Tom left the band a few weeks ago.
After we released that news, we received a lot of eMails and messages from many guys and girls asking, if they could be our next bass player.
We would like to thank everybody who wrote us and who was interested to play bass for us. It was just overwhelming to get so many messages.
So thanks a lot for that – we really appreciate it!
But what we are more excited about is that we have found a new bass player who will join us after our tour!!! Please check our new Promo picture >here< and stay tuned to find out who will be the new DL Hippie on the bass guitar!!!

2008/12/12 - TOM LEFT THE BAND!
Hey folks, we're not happy to announce, that we parted ways with Tom after more than 7 common years. Due to some musical and personal differences we agreed with him, that it's better to make a cut.
There's no shittalking, no bad mood or angry feelings. We just decided, that Deadlock should go on with a new bass player. We thank Tom for all the amazing years, the great time, his friendship and all our happy experiences together!
All future shows will be played with session musicians until we found a new member for that part. More news on our search for the new DL family member will be posted soon!

2008/11/10 - DEATHRACE CAMPAIGN @ PETA2
The Munich/Germany based Hip Hop production team THE HITFARMERS did an exclusive remix version of our collaboration track "DEATHRACE" from our new album MANIFESTO for animal rights organization PETA, which can be downloaded for free at www.peta2.de.
Expect some head nodding Hip Hop beats, spitting truth by Warpath, Sick Since (Lost Children Of Babylon), plus german MCs Sir Smo and Kronzeuge! Horrorcore Style in full effect, giving a sneak preview of what to expect on the forthcoming HITFARMERS album scheduled for a March 2009 release!
Along with this campaign comes a T-Shirt designed by the vegetarian street artist JASE. The shirt can be ordered through www.imperial-clothing.com. The profit of the shirt sales will be donated to PETA.

Hey Leute,
wir freuen uns sehr, Euch mitteilen zu können, dass wir die Release Show zu unserem neuen Album MANIFESTO im wundervollen Gloria in Regensburg feiern können!
Fast ein Jahr nach unserer fantastischen 10 Year Anniversary Show, an die wir heute noch oft und gerne zurückdenken, kehren wir an diesen glorreichen Ort inmitten unserer Heimatstadt zurück, um wieder eine derartig fette bzw. noch fettere Party mit Euch zu starten!!!
Am 15.11.2008 wollen wir mit Euch allen unser neues Album feiern und Euch das neue Material zum ersten Mal auch live vorstellen. Deshalb laden wir Euch ganz herzlich ein, diesen Abend mit uns zu teilen, mit uns abzurocken, zu tanzen und Spass zu haben! Wir haben wieder viele Specials für Euch geplant und können Euch versichern, dass wir für einige Überraschungen sorgen werden! :-)
Unterstützt werden wir an diesem Abend von zwei hochkarätigen Bands, die schon lange gute Freunde von uns sind und mit denen wir schon so manche Bühnen zerlegt haben: ANIMA aus Nordhausen und MYRA aus Leipzig. Es wird Zeit, dass wir den beiden Ossi-Kombos mal zeigen, wie hier in der Oberpfalz Party gemacht wird! Für ordentlich musikalische Abwechslung ist bei diesem glanzvollen Package auf alle Fälle gesorgt!
Einlass im Gloria ist um 18.00 Uhr. Die erste Band startet eine Stunde später um 19.00 Uhr.
Wir stehen dann um ca. 20.45 Uhr auf der Bühne - Ende der Show wird auch bereits um 22.00 Ihr sein, sodass auch die jüngeren Gäste die Show vollständig sehen können und auch die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel noch easy zu erreichen sind.
Dies bedeutet allerdings nicht, dass um 22.00 Uhr schon Schluss ist. Ganz im Gegenteil!
Wir starten direkt nach der Live-Show mit einer grandiosen Aftershow-Party feat. DJ :DONE: und DJ :LOONYTUNE: (Klonklub/Bassline Paranoia). Für gute Musik vom Plattenteller und geile Tanzmucke ist somit bestens gesorgt und wir laden Euch ein, hier noch bis in die Nacht hinein mit uns zu feiern!
Der Eintritt an der Abendkasse kostet 10.00 EUR.

We already started with the songwriting for our new album. You know, that it's pretty hard to write bad songs like we do, so we have to take a break in playing shows and back out of stages for a while, except for a few exclusive festival appearances.
The new album is going to be released in November, the studio is booked for beginning of August and we're having a looooooot of work to do for that new piece of crap.

2008/02/27 - CONTRACT WITH LIFEFORCE EXTENDED - PETA2 CAMPAIGN STARTED - NEW SONG UP
Hey ladies and gentlemen,
it's a big pleasure for us to let you know, that we signed a new contract to continue our collaboration with LIFEFORCE RECORDS for three more albums. They're doing an excellent job for Deadlock, so it's been an pretty easy decision to extend our existing deal with them. As you know, we're the only good band on their label roster, so we couldn't take the responsibility to leave them alone with all those other poorly acts. ;-)
This is what Lifeforce CEO Stefan Lüdicke has to say about our new signing:
“I'm very happy that we have secured three more albums with DEADLOCK, one of the most promising bands around and not to forget one of my personal favorites on Lifeforce. we're still overwhelmed, when we remember our 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOW in Regensburg two weeks ago. It was such a big and grandiose party, which will always be in our minds.
THANK YOU SO MUCH REGENSBURG for being such an amazing audience and all you crazy people/kids, who followed our invitation that numerous to celebrate that special night with us! It's been fantastic...
Thanks to our friends in THE BLACKOUT ARGUMENT and DECON for supporting us with their breathtaking shows, our two sexy dancers Julia and Sabrina for their hooootttt appearances during our show, Eric and Fimmi for the bombastic sound, the Gloria Crew, Aftershow Party DJ-LEGEND Josef Reichl, Daniel & ProEvent and all other supporters and helping hands, who have been involved to the show.
